Adventures within the city

To some, Manila can have a certain charm. Its confusing public transportation system and the traffic certainly do not contribute to that charm.

I took the LRT-1 from the brand new Roosevelt Station. Fancy, with a wide waiting area and a new thingy that receives the tickets (I’m sure there’s a name for it, I just can’t remember). When it got the old area though, it looked sad and depressing again.

Even though I took a really long and circuitous route, I guess it was worth it for the experience.

Oh, and I also got to sleep on the train. Well I woke up every now and then, but the trip felt too short for me to have been awake.
